i have my set up

What is that big plastic container for? It looks deep and if you chameleon fell into it it would not be able to get out and if it gets filled with standing water, it could drown! You need to remove that if that is the case. Use something way more shallow than that.

thats not staying in there its just there wile i test my dripper
 
ok, cool!!!! I was thinking maybe you had drilled holes in the bottom of it or something to let the water run out. Other than that Nick it looks good! Are you going to use any live plants or just fake? Live is good!

yh i am going to but having a hard time getting one this time of year what would you recomend that is safe and easy
 
Wow, I must be tired! Its been a long day and I am not functioning in the brain dept! You said you were going to get a live plant and you said about the containter. I just did not read and clicked on your picture! forgive my stupidity!!! lol!!!
 
You can get a Schefflera, or umbrella plant, at Wallyworld about any time of the year. They are pretty nice to use.

I see you are in the UK so I don't know what plants are available to you this time of year. I live in Florida and am fortunate to have year round nice weather and a great variety of plants to chose from. I use Hibuscus, sheffler( aka arboricola, umbrella) or the ficus or ficus benjamin. oh yeah, pothos too are good.

i will have to have a look at to see if i can get them tomorrow thank you:)
 
Ok mate, if you go to a big B&Q, they have lots of Pothos/Devils ivy, and Fiscus and Umbrella plants, usually in stock.
 
Great set up nick, i to am in the U.k and i get my live plants from B&Q and homebase. Only the other day i was in homebase and they had umbrella and weeping figs in store. You can also buy them from ebay.
 
I would say it's a great start! Personally I find live plants to be somewhat of a hassle so all my cages only have fake plants (after many failed attempts with umbrella plants). Live plants help with humidity and look nice, but just wanted to let you know they're not a necessity. I see a thermometer and hygrometer towards the bottom. You should get another thermometer to put at the top of the cage too to check the temp difference from top to bottom. It's important for chams to have a gradient so they can control their body temp and having two thermometers will let you monitor everything. If the basking spot if too hot it especially can cause a lot of problems.

Also I'd add some more plants to the middle and more towards the front sides of the cage so your cham doesn't feel so exposed to the world. Adding plants to at least the 4 corners will make them feel a little more protected. Hope that helps, looks like you're heading the right direction for sure, good luck!

i have a digital thermomiter at the top you just carnt see it in the pic as the display is at the side of the enclosure and more plants are on there way 2day
 
yh i have photo bucket to but it wasnt working at the time i have the set up fully complete now with live plant the lot just need the cham now will post more pics of set up 2morow
