I caught one of my female brevis digging yesterday and when I went back later last night, I noted that she dug through the substrate and deposited several eggs in the plastic eggcrate on the bottom of the enclosure. I know there are at least three. These are my first cham eggs and I am very excited!!!
Given that the eggs are not surrounded by soil, I think it would be best to place them in a container of damp vermiculite or hatch-rite. I'll post photos when I remove them.
I do have one question, if someone would be so kind - is there any reason why damp sphagnum moss cannot be used?
