Don't give up! like everyone else said earlier, other members have lost their chameleons and found them weeks or months later. Don't get discouraged since you couldn't find him the first day. Your cham needs you now more than ever and its your responsibility to care for him whether its misting him several times a day or climbing every tree around your house looking for him. They don't move that fast so you still have plenty of time to continue looking for him. You can do it!

I left the cage outside and the wind blew it over.. He crawled out and disappeared !

Hey Forum,

I broke down and bought another Nosy Be today. I got him from the same reptile shop.. He's the sibling to the one I lost. You can trust that I will not be as neglectful as I was in the past.. I'm gonna make sure I raise Gino till he's old.

So did he ever turn up? I would tear my neighborhood up if I lost my lil guy. not one but two are gone now? hopefully this new one stays with ya for the long run. I am new to chameleons so I will take this as a good learning lesson for this summer when I can take mine outside.

Wow I just read another forum where a guy lost his cham (male) so he put out a couple of females outside in cages and 2.5 hours later the male showed up to one of the females cages head bobbin. How Genius!!!
