Do you use zip ties to hold it to the sides? It won't rip the mesh screen?

yes i use zip ties they work great i make a little bit of a hole so they go thru if they dont fit but they r the best

I use a 22 guage steel galvanzied wire. It fits right through the mesh and works well for me. You can get it at home depot,.

or you can use craft wire like it did, i like it better cuz it comes coated in a thin layer of paint. i like it cuz it blends in more, i got it in green, and you dont have to worry about rust.

I find that the steel rips my screen, and the crickets escape!!! After many different methods i discovered fishing line is the real way to go!!!

The milk container is my feeding cup. Instead of the plastic I use the carton. Also I didn't use the screen. I just use rough surface tape. Crickets can crawl over the tape. Here is the link to make one.

For the screen wires.. Its true it can rip the mesh. I have juvi chameleons so they don't push much weight. Once they get older I will have to use fishing line or think of other ways to do it.

Seems like fishing line is the way to go. and I have a bunch already. I have alittle dish but I think something like that would be better up high rather on the floor.

Does anybody else think that this enclosure is more for looks?

All those fake leaves and not one real plant! But having chams is all about looking cool anyways:D

you may also thing about putting some kind of backing when using wire or fishing line through the screen like that. I till tak the pressure off the one strand of scree and distribute it on to a larger area.

Good luck...Nice cage

I used waxed string. It works great and has tensil strength. I can thread it through the screen just fine and tie it to a paper clip. This way I can easily shorten it up if I need to and the weight of the item is spread along the paper clip. I tie my fake plants and sticks up with this same string. It is great! The was keeps it from deteriorating.
