Hello my fellow chamm family.. So ive been experimenting with cricket breeding and today i checked my incubation tank nd i saw these little bugs moving around.. Their baby crickets!! I counted about 10.. Point is that their hatching!! Super excited, hard work pays off.. Id post photos but their 2 blurry nd small on my phone..

Great work!! took me several tries to get a good number of babies.
I found that if I cover the lay bin (a tupperware sandwhich container) with screen, I get way more babies.
Screen mesh just big enough for the females to get their egg tubes through, but they cant eat the eggs.

The main secret is temp! I put a heating mat under the crick bin, and keep the temp in the high 80's.
Need to check the lay bin daily to keep it from drying out.

Females eat the eggs?? Hadd no idea.. I usually take the laying bins out of the breeding tank after 2 weeks.. But the screen idea seems legit.. Gotta try that..

Awesome! I've been looking at information to try this. Did it work on your first try?

U just have to experiment nd have alot of patience.. This was my second attemp but it worked.. I used that eco earth stuff in the egg laying bin nd it worked.. Just research nd experiment.. Such a wonderful feeling wen u get results.. Lol
