Soo!! I just purchased an umbrella plant for my cage! I have placed the potted plant in a bowl so the water (from the holes in the bottom of the pot) will drain into it. However, I am afraid my little guy will fall into the bowl. What can i do to prevent this?

Thanks!

You could fill the bowl with larger decorative rocks. That would still give you a nice void ratio for the water to collect in and keep him from getting into the water. Just make sure the rocks are large enough that he couldn't accidentally swallow any.

Great advice! When I purchase a new pothos, I pot it in one of the pots that provides drainage as a raised lip on the outside of the bottom of the pot, rather than holes on the very bottom. As for the dirt where the plant is potted, I use large rocks so crickets do not dig and disappear and my chameleon doesn't bother with the dirt or eat any.

Hope this helps!

Yo can all so use them glass pebbels u get from craft shops line the bottom of bowl then sit the plant on top they have a flat top the plant want tip
