I need Help quick

I put my baby veilds in the new terrarium that I had built for them and now they arent eating. They have been in there for for about 3 days now, and they just dont seem interisted in food. The crickets just end up running away and hiding. Also the male keeps closing his eyes and not looking around, is this because they havent been outside for a couple of days? Here are some pics of their new home. Its 17"deep x 29"wide x 36"tall.

Are they in the same cage ? check your temps and add a little more cover for them. Sometimes a different food idem might give them a kick start. I also see a cup free ranging will stimulate feeding.

I put the cup in there so the food would be easier for them to find but it was a waste. I only have a 75watt basking bulb over them now, should I get a stronger one now that they are in the bigger enclosure? and yes they are in there together but they dont really care unless they get to close to each other. Then they run away

They should be separated so they cant see each other put some kind of divider up and see if that works.

in my opinion this is a very big set up for a baby. it could be to big for them and are to afraid to eat. do they stay in just one spot? if so this most likely is the case. i would recommend what pulcini said about putting a divider inside the cage. how many do you have in there?

Come to think of it they do stay in the same area most of the time. There are only the two of them. I will try to get a divider tomorrow. Also do you think that I need a stronger light for them now?

You need to have a thermometer in there to find out what the temp is in several locations of the enclousure. That is the only way to know what watt basking bulb you need to be using. Do you also have a UVB light ?

Yes! its a Reptisun 10.0 UVB bulb. (its the blue light on the right side of the cage) So if I seperate them that should help with making a smaller cage and so they dont freak..SWEET! thanks for all the help! (I work really odd hours so its really hard to get things done since most stores arnt open when im free or awake for that matter).

Hey there....very cute babies....

Your cage does look super big for babies. It seems strange but they will actually feel more secure in a smaller area when they are that small. It's also too much room for the live food to hide. Uneaten crickets will lose their good gutload quickly. I think putting a divider in is a great idea. They will each have their own smaller space.

A little trick I use for keeping live food in the upper area of the cage for babies: I take a small wedge of an orange (rind side down) and impale it on or place it in/on something in the upper part of the cage. This gets the crickets to come up a lot more often to sample the orange. The babies will often hang out near the orange to pick off the crickets, etc. If you use a feeder cup you can put the orange section in that. I put some gutload in it too. Any uneaten crickets will feed at night and be nutritious to eat the next day. Just don't let whatever you do become messy or old.

I dont think you need a stronger baskinglight. But you need to check the temp so it doesnt get to warm. Young chams can be overheated quite fast.

I agree. He's tiny! that cage is way too big.
