and was wondering if you could breed a female Jackson’s chameleon with a veiled male chameleon ???

No they are two different species. Even if they did breed they would not produce babies. Also jacksons are live bearers and veiled produce eggs. Jacksons are native to east Africa and veiled are native to the Arabian peninsula.

What about a translucent veils chameleon with a veiled chameleon would that work since there still a veiled?

Jackson’s chameleon

Enclosure
juveniles 16X16X30 (screen)
Adults 18X18X36 Bare minimum (screen) I’d go bigger though
Set with a lot of foliage vines branches fake foliage live plants
Safe live plants hibiscus ficus trees umbrella plants devils ivy (pothos) are some

Lighting
Repti 5.0/10.0 bulbs
NO infared RED Bulb! Ever!
12 hours with lights on
12 hours lights off
Replace bulbs every 6 months
Various different temps throughout enclosure
Juvenile temps 70-74F throughout basting spot 75-78F Daytime. Nighttime 60s No lights!
Adults temps
70-79 throughout enclosure basting 80-82F Daytime
Nighttime 60s No lights!

Humidity
60-80f for babies and adults can even go higher than that since they are montane species mountainous Regins

Mist at bare minimum 3 times a day or if humidity drops lower than above
Do not drink from bowls they drink from leaves from rain or misting a good rainstorm does a lot of good for a Jackson as it does for all other species

Give live birth and really benefit from real sunlight as do all chameleons

Do not over supplement Jackson’s but don’t under do it either Don’t use D3 calcium every feeding correct if I’m wrong guys. Calcium without D3 can be used every feeding or every other day. Vitamins at least every month
