i was wondering.. if maybe he doesnt drink?

i figured id ask here cus i couldnt find a straight answer anywhere else. but i was wondering if its possible that some chameleons dont drink, but rather get their hydration from food and humidity. my little gonzo hates the dripper. he runs from it and occasionally hisses at it. he also does nott like when it "rains." i mist his cage a few times a day with warm water and i dont spray him. at first i thought he was a shy drinker, which i havent ruled out really. im not really concerned cus his urates are white, just curious. i was wondering because he just shed, and sometimes when hes shedding he doesnt eat as much, and thats the only time when his urates might have some yellow in them. (95% white nonetheless). at first i thought that he doesnt drink normally because of how he was housed in the pet store - he had a shallow water dish with an airstone. hes captive bred but i dont think that would rule out the instinct to drink dripping water off leaves and whatnot. any insight would be niceee thx

Worms generally tend to be a super source for hydration, especially horn worms, if his diet is high in those then perhaps but I believe he is just that secretive about it. My chams drink as fast as a shot of the tongue, you cant be there for all of them.
