Ideas for hanging plants from this stand

There's a picture at the bottom of the metal stand I'm working with for my new free range. Please excuse the mess, have multiple cham projects going on at the same time lol.

Trying to come up with some ideas for attaching plant pots to the metal posts and/or hang them from the top shelf where the light is sitting, without my cham being able to climb up there and get to the lights.

I was thinking of using the super magnets for the posts, but I don't know of a reliable glue for holding the magnets to plastic pots. Also considered taking that coconut fiber planters, cutting it, and wrapping it around the post somehow so I can try to attach stuff to it. For hanging, maybe some very thin fishline, but I'm not sure if the cham will still climb that.

Going out today to buy stuff please any good ideas I'd greatly appreciate!

You can go to a outdoor shop and get some 20lb fishing line. You can tie the fishing line through a hole you poke in the pot of the plant and up to the top of the stand. If you do a few lines per plant, they would be pretty sturdy. You can do it with multiple plants. As for attaxtchikg plants to the posts, you can make a hole in the pot and zip tie the side to the post, and also use some more fishing line to connect it to the top of the stand. This would keep it on the pole and wouldn't let it slide down. Hope this helps

I just ran across this media by @ispeedonthe405 https://www.chameleonforums.com/media/trees-step-2.42287/#media
Don't know if this will work for you but it's very cool.

Those fake tree planters ended up looking pretty good but they were also 38 pounds each. 6" PVC for the trunk, metal L brackets to hold the branches, and then the final layer of epoxy putty to make the bark. It was just too much mass.

If I were to do that again I would probably use polystyrene foam cylinders for trunks and an aluminum armature to hold the branches.

That's too bad about the weight. I love the way it looks with the pothos as the leaves.

I second what ispeedonthe405 recommended. I bought 6 of these on clearance at Wal-Mart back in March (three each of the 3" and 6" holders)and they've come in really handy.

I took apart one of my free-standng clothes racks then secured the 2 metal posts with end caps to the back 2 corners inside my reptibreeze. I zip-tie the pot holders I got at Wal-Mart to the posts and then use fishing line or thin hemp rope to distribute the weight and secure the plant a little more. This was her cage a while ago; I had the pothos and hoya both resting on them.
