If I were to get this cage, what else would I need?

Alright so I'm probably getting a chameleon and I have my eye on this cage/setup for my future cham:

I've done my research and to me, it looks like it has everything a new chameleon would need, at least to start. Of course it doesn't include the food, but I'm also planning on getting crickets. What else would I need?

I hate that they put a picture of an adult panther on a 16x16x30 enclosure. It will be big enough for a female Jacksonii maybe but a veiled or panther is gonna outgrow it eventually.

I was just going to add this in after I knew what type he was going to get. This will be way to small for an adult male. Also this would be fine but eventually you will need to upgrade to a bigger size

Okay! I'm planning on getting a juvenile male veil chameleon. I've seen the one I'm planning on getting and it looks like it will fit in it for now. At what age would I need a bigger enclosure?

Before they hit a year old you would need one thats at least 24x24x48 inches.

It would be okay for a young one but once they get bigger you would need to upgrade. The kit also doesn't come with enough cover or sticks and vines for climbing.

I got this and less than 2 months later I upgraded. Personally I dont like the lights as it comes with a compact UVB and the heat light only lasts a few months. The amount of plants and vines it comes with is hilarious. A super small vine and a tiny plant. Its your choice but just know you will need a lot more!

Okay! I'm planning on most likely getting more plants n stuff.

You may want to consider getting a mister and a mechanical timer for the wall outlet. I have mine set up so the lights and the mister turn on and off automatically. It really is helpful.

How much do misters cost and where could I get one?

Mistking is a better investment than others. Personally I have the monsoon but I wish I got the mistking. Im now saving up for one. The monsoon cost me under 100 and the mistking I want is about 175 without shipping

Mistking is the best, I went through three other misters before I decided to finally get the mist king. Which means I spent over 200 dollars in misters before I got a mist king.

Climist misters are said to be very nice and very similar to mistkings but cost 109 with free shipping.
