Well, being from Houston and having family down there...

I know, at the time, the majority of the city is out of power, from what I've heard/seen, the worst is probably over, and now comes the rainbow

Ah, this is the one thing I don't miss from living there!!! Anyway, to the users who are in Houston facing IKE:

We wish you and your families the best of luck, if anything is needed we'll do our best to try to help. Please let us know about your adventures in the storm that's been feared since it formed (and how your chameleons reacted)! I've never seen the way they react to bad weather, or the sudden change in environment. Hopefully all is well...

my grandma *lived* on galveston island. im pretty sure her house was leveled. i feel bad for her, but shes in memphis visiting all of her relatives, and then will be going to italy to visit our relatives there.
