I'm addicted!

I've hatched turtle eggs for a vet when the turtle was hit by a car and they had to take her eggs and released animals on my property too when they needed someone to release them.

I would have loved to have hatched little turtles, what species? The rehabber here showed me hatchling box turtles she had when I adopted 2 unreleasable turtles from her last year. They were so cute. I wasn't going to adopt turtles from her but she kept asking me and told me over and over I was a great fit for them because she knew I how well I took care of my chameleons. She said she knew that I knew what I was doing when I went on a rant about UVB, calcium and MBD.

Snapping turtles. (But I hatched three tiers for myself too.)
There were about 30 snapper eggs and all but two hatched. The two were infertile.

I love snappers. It's always funny when I stop to move them out of the road and some big guy pulls up behind me and feels the need to tell me to be "careful, that's a snapper, you know". No kidding you couldn't tell I knew what I was doing when I was picking it up by the back of its shell and holding it far away from me? A few years ago I was on my way to a job interview and was in heels and a dress when I did it. Busy road I know I look like a crazy woman. I didn't get the job but I think it's because I smelled like a swamp. Of course I didn't look any crazier than the time I was in scrubs with a stethoscope around my neck chasing an injured snow goose through a field.
