Im having trouble with Sebastian again.

Recently Sebastian (9 month old veiled) has gone into a mean stage. He absolutely hates me. I keep hand feeding him but no progress has really been made. This isn't the problem. The real problem is i haven't been able to clean out his cage for a week almost 2 weeks. It is starting to smell a bit. Usually, i clean out his cage twice a week but he no longer allows me. Once i open the door to the cage he dives to the bottom and sits there behind a bush until i go away. I need to clean out the bottom but he won't let me take out the matting. I tried pulling it but he hisses and sometimes attempts to strike my hand. I believe it is very urgent to clean out his cage but he believes otherwise. Does anyone have any strategies on how to remove him carefully and without much stress? have a nice tree for him to explore while I'm cleaning but i need help getting him out. This may prove to be a serious problem in the future. What if i need to take him to the vet? What if i have to bring him to reptile daycare? Any info would help thanks so much!

Perhaps a green gloved hand? Where or what is reptile day care?
Sounds like its worth a try. He gets scared once i open the door. I am not sure if that will work, but ill try. I am traveling to Spain soon (for around 2 weeks) and my reptile store (where i bought him) has a daycare where he gets around the clock care for around 5 bucks a day. I found this place because earlier this year i hired someone to take care of him while i was visiting my family, and they ended up neglecting him for 5 days so my reptile store wanted to help me out for my trip to spain.
