I'M SO CLOSE

Hello! Unfortunately, I can not do a Reptile/Amphibian of the Week this week. But, I am very close to being ready to buy a veiled chameleon from FL Chams. I have three live plants, but they aren't very bushy and they don't take up space in the terrarium. Before I buy a veiled I want to get some safe vines like Golden Pothos and also a plant that is safe for veiled chameleons that can take up empty space so the chameleon feels comfortable and hidden. Also, I know that there are certain lights that you should get for a veiled chameleon. Can you all tell me what plants I should get and what lights I should get?

What gender and age are you getting? Filling out the ask for help form will make sure you have everything 100%! Here are some great links and images (as you probably know, read through every module and the veiled species profile, as well as listen to as many podcasts as possible, from The Chameleon Academy):

Yes, I know about the age that it needs to be. And no, I have not. I am going to call them today and ask. But their company is highly recommended by many chameleon owners though. They breed their chams and I'm pretty sure they sell them only when they are of age.

I’m sorry, I wasn’t sure. With FL Chams, their reviews and quality have gotten worse through the years. They also use farmed (not captive bred) chams on some of their species. There are some threads on here talking about it, if you want to check them out. Also, I forgot to add congrats for getting a cham!

Granted, some people get perfectly healthy chams from there, but I personally wouldn’t risk it.
@ERKleRose who would you purchase from just curious? I'm not looking to purchase right now but may want to add another veiled to my collection in the future. If collection is the right word right now i only have my awesome boy Ebn.
