I'm thinking of making an enclosure some idea's?

yes that will do amazing just cut out the inside of the doors and make them screen so there is air flow coming in. also i would suggest making a screen top so a convection like air flow can work. one last thing, make sure you either get some cling background or use pet safe water proofer for the inside.

That's what I was thinking
my concern was the depth I want him to have the baddest and best enclosure possible. Just want him to feel comfortable. This is his home as of now. It's great but I want it to be bigger!Attachments

. The depth is only a couple inches shorter than the recommended. It won’t affect him that much. As long as you’ve got kinda good length and width as well as a high height with some screen on the enclosure. You should be fine. Make sure you buy a tube uvb bulb fyiThat's what I was thinking

I was thinking of removing the back and replacing it totally maybe adding some background to that with texture, cutting the doors and possibly the sides and top as well adding screen all around and putting the drainage at the bottom of the pull out drawers and possibly some blinds on the sides and front that I can pull down for night time privacy for him just in case we stay up later don't want to disrupt his sleep. I know this will take a while to complete for sure.. I do want to water proof it. my boyfriend is a carpenter so I think he will be able to help with it.. I would hope so hah I have a vision in my head of what I want it to look like. I hope it turns out something like that

. Um u do know using a 10.0 runs the risk of hurting your cham right. Most people use 5.0

Actually a 10.0 is recommended by many chameleon keepers my chameleons elclosure is so dence with foliage a 5.0 would be took week/less affective and most likely not penitrate threw the foliage and that would most likely hurt him more in the long run. Thanks tho... his enclosure as of now is 24x24x48 I would recommend a 5.0 for a baby and a smaller enclosure like a 16x16x24

I made a nice enclosure out of bamboo and zip ties and climbing 3/4" rope, he loves it, a male veiled Cham

He takes a while to find sometimes, but he is usually in his main spots. I used to have the whole corner of the room for him, but I grounded him to just 2 feet from the ground, he isn't climbing very well these days since a spinal injury - but he is getting better

He loves his home right now with all the foliage! when he was smaller his name was Waldo like "where's Waldo" because I could never find him in his enclosure hah but now that he is maturing he is more visible and I personally love the natural full look of his enclosure he has endless possibilities for climbing and he seems vary comfortable. Haha
