Infertile eggs

this is my first time owning a chameleon & i knew she was going to have infertile eggs & i set up her nesting box once i noticed she was digging at her ground. now she has had her eggs & currently she is sitting on them, i misted & did the regular nightly routine but i don’t really know what to do at this point, i know i have to dispose of them eventually but should i wait until she moves & should i change the husbandry at all or do it as normal? i know she will need a lot of water which i am but i don’t really know anything else of what to do

Mine laid 15 Monday and we have them in a incubator til we know if they are fertile or not. Moving her to her mesh cage tonight. I actually got her drinking out of a water bowl last night and this morning cause she is dehydrated. She is doing good though eating and pooping.

Please do not let your chameleon drink from standing water... And definitely do not encourage others to engage in this unhealthy behavior.

don't let her see you see her digging!!! Give her complete privacy. when shes done she will be very thin and thirsty and covered in dirt and starts basking again. Id have a few hornworms on hand for hydration

Please do not let your chameleon drink from standing water... And definitely do not encourage others to engage in this unhealthy behavior.

It's not standing water, its fresh and I dont leave it in her tank

i covered her cage with a coat & i peaked from the top & that’s when i noticed everything going on, thank you though, i’ll definitely get some hornworms

She might show some egg-covering behavior, then will leave them. Let her do this, then take the eggs away.

She looks very healthy. Feed her well for a few days, as much as she wants. Also, I dust my feeders a little more heavily for a week or so.
