Initial MistKing purchase and set up

Hey all, I've had my cham for almost 5 days now and he's pooped a handful of times but each BM shows less urate. I've noticed a few orange spots on my bare floor so I'm thinking little dude (yet to be named) isn't drinking. His turrents appear normal, not sunken at all.
So I guess I'm going to purchase a basic MistKing set up. I know I'll have to also purchase the screen wedge, is there anything else I need before I order one. Plan on getting it from the mistking website unless anyone knows of a cheaper place.
I plan on installing this on his current 36x18x18, then moving it to his adult 4x2x2 months later. Anything I need to know in advance?

Make sure you get the tube cutter.

Check out the fitting that come with it. I would get a ball valve (to put between the reservoir and the pump) if it doesn't come with it. extra tubing is really valuable so you can put the reservoir and pump in a water-safe room and run the hose to the cage somewhere else. Extra nozzles are a good thing either for a new cage or in case one fails and they do once in awhile.

The trick to setting it up is to make sure the tubing is seated properly. I have a heck of a time pushing it in far enough. It's really not that easy, or at least isn't for me. It takes a lot of force to get it seated all the way in.

They are pretty simple to set up. Ive always used scissors to cut the tube and never had a problem. ball valve would be a good choice as stated above. Sometimes it hurts my finger nails getting the fittings off but im anal and like to clean the screen inside the nozzles alot.

I've never had an issue not using the tube cutter I just used a new sharp Razor blade to cut my tubes and a year later still no issues. The hardest part for me was placing the tank above the reservoir that was easy to access to fill and somewhere to hide it out of the way.
