Injured toad.

I was out side walking to school and I found this toad there is something wrong with its leg’s i have him is a bin with dirt till I get home. I don’t know what to do with him.

kinda a part of nature hun. It will either adapt or become food for another animal.

You could try to help it heal from it’s injuries and then release it back near where you found it. You’ll need to read up on it’s care guidelines. Then you’ll want to try and keep the wounds somewhat clean - hard to do for a terrestrial animal. Maybe apply some silver sulfadiaz if you have any, plain neosporin without pain relief if you don’t. Feed and hydrate and see how it does. If it won’t eat, is best to release it and let nature take whatever course it will.

I don’t know what was going on with the toad but I checked on him he was hoping just fine here is a before at after pictures I put him outside.
