my cham escaped his enclosure this morning cause I didnt lock it all the way. After 30 minutes I find him climbing a pretty high shelf. When I reach for him he panicked and tried to rush and lost his grip and fell. It was a nasty fall he hit part of the shelf and then fell the rest of the way to the floor. I picked him up and his front left arm is broken. It's been about 20 minutes and I've noticed that he's not moving both of his back legs nor wil he grip with them(he has a better grip with the broken arm). Also his tail isn't curling up properly and his spine is looking bad. Is there anything I can do for him? Every vet is closed for the day in my area and I hate seeing him like this.

Here's him laying in his cage and he actually did end up using his back legs for like 2 seconds

His arm does not look broke to me. He was probably traumatized by the fall. How is he doing now?. His eyes looks sunken in, but that could be from trauma also. Are his eyes always sunken in like that, or just after the fall?

He's still not moving much but I found an emergency vet that gave me some pain mess as I didn't want to spend $600 to leave him over night and another $200 for X-rays. But his eyes got like that after the fall they've always been healthy popped out. And I made him a homemade splint to wear for a few days just to be sure. The vet said he might not be moving his back legs much because of shock and after a few days let them know how he's doing. I just gave him his first dose of painkiller and I laid him in a little box inside his cage to rest up. I'm hoping for the best as he's been well taken care of up until this incident. Hopes for the best and thanks for the comment it's much appreciated

Also do you have any idea why he has his tail curled like that or do they just curl it at angle like that sometimes

For future reference, whenever my chameleon is in a dangerous place, I just watch him and wait for him to come down where I can safely get him. These animals are incredible climbers. It's a lot less of a risk to let him find his own way down. You could even bribe him with food. You can just sit in the room keeping an eye on him while on your phone or something, and wait for the right time to safely take him down. I wish your chameleon a full recovery!!!
