I didn't know what type of discussion this would properly fall into.
I'm sure most, if not all of you have heard of or have instagram. Whenever I take any pictures with or of my chameleons you can hashtag "chameleons_of_instagram".
I occasionally, if not often, will browse other's posts on this hashtag and today I came across someone who posted a few pictures of their veiled often sleeping or wrapped up in a blanket or in their shirt (while they're out?). All of them looked like it was daylight out or they were in a room with lights on.
Anyway... the chameleon looked severely dehydrated and sickly. I couldn't help but comment and ask how long they've had him and did say that he didn't look good! How can I NOT?!
Now I probably sound like a weird random stalker person to them. It's just so sad to see stuff like that. She (the photos looked like a female owner) also had some pictures of a panther as well, didn't look as vibrant in color and one photo it had it's eyes closed under her cardigan.. again in daylight.
I know we can't control these things either... and it's just as bad as seeing the babies at petco or petsmart
