Literally at the vet right now. They just took him back.Any update?
An update! And I believe I now have my answers to why Treebeard has been declining. His last fecal I brought in to the vet came back positive for coccidia.
I know this is a nasty parasite but I must admit I feel a sense of relief knowing that I have an answer now and that it’s not crypto or entamoeba. He has been on quarantine protocols since he started to decline so I am hoping this did not spread to my other loves, however, because I have a microscope I can keep an eye on it and act quickly if needs be.
Me too! It’s a bummer to deal with but I’m glad to know what it is so we can work on what we need to in order to get him back to 100%I’m glad you finally found out what’s going on!
I love this and I love thinking about him having his own tree. Thank you for sharing all of it. I absolutely LOVE chameleons!!Update: Treebeard has been more active the last two days than he has been lately. I’m hoping this is due to the medications he has been taking lately.
He has gotten wise to my silkworm/medication trick so today I had to just wait and put the meds in his mouth when he gaped at me.
