I'm so glad you made the choice to keep Elly. She is so adorable and precious. A miracle she was and a special one at that, it all happened for a reason! Take care of her and I can't wait for more photos and things watching her grow up

how old was she in the pics with a piece of the cord attached? do they all have that when they emerge from the egg and when does it fall off???

Lisa she was 17 days old when these pictures were made.....she's 19 days old today. Most of the babies before did not have the cord attached and the ones that did it fell off right away. Dr. Alfonso told me to just leave it alone and if it doesn't come off by itself before she's 4 or 5 weeks old then we can clip it off. I'm thinking maybe she's had this for so long because she's a preemie.
