Io moth (american silkmoth)

so i found about 12 or so of these guys larvae on a plant that i cant remember the name of. Its in the mangrove family though....the kind with furry white leaves if anyone know what im talking about . I know the catterpillars are no good to feed off because they have spines that can cause irritation but does anyone know about the adults? just curious they area rather large moth and my Oustie would probably love them.

huh, good to know, looks like i wont be feeding those guys off.
