Iris & Chesnut

Intensive cage cleaning was my job this weekend, so chams needed to leave their apartment for a little while. Snapped a few pics of Iris and Chesnut; Ambilobe locales. They are both at around 6 months.

My first intention was to have panther babies but with the attitude of Chesnut, I don't know how it's going to be possible. She is the moodiest of the house surpassing both of our veileds temper combined.

Ah - the "nifty fifty".

I've been meaning to pick up that lense. Supposedly the best lense you can buy for quality vs price. I've also heard it called the "plastic fantastic".

I agree Royden, for how much it costs; surprisingly, it delivers sharpness that even my L glass cannot. 5 blades can introduce problems with bokeh when there's harsh light/reflections on the background. It's extremely sharp at f/2.8.

I haven't had the chance to try out the 60mm f/2.8 macro, but I've used 100mm f/2.8. Incredible sharpness on 100mm as well. For how much 50mm costs, I think it's a great addition to any inventory (unless you already have the f/1.4:D or the f/1.2:eek:)
