Is a Hawk Moth edible?

So a few months ago, I found a hornworm cocoon in my chameleons substrate while cleaning out his place! Long story short, I put it aside and it just hatched from its cocoon and is now a massive Hawk Moth!!!

I would like to feed it to my fully grown ambilobe panther, however, it is a fairly large moth and wanted to get your opinions first.

Is it too large? Have any of you heard of panthers eating Hawk Moths?

A fully grown panther should be able to eat it.

I feed them to my adult males with no issues.

Thanks for the answers! One last question: Does the Hawk Moth have any spines on its legs, or have anything else that could harm my chameleon?
