Is he burnt?

He wasnt like this earlier not until bed time. I'm just worried he might be burnt. Maybe it's just his colors? What do you think. His temps at 84.5 or 85.2 during the day (checked with a temp gun.) His basking sticks are 8 inches away from the top of the cage. He is almost 4 months old. I've read and saw alot of chameleons with the brown around the eyes and head it was just thier colors.. I'm just worried. Picture was just taken, he didnt like the fact I took it and interrupted his sleep.

I don’t think it’s a burn. Burns are usually grey.

Ok thanks I'm going to check to see if hes still this color in the morning. I'm just a very big worrier, should have seen me freak out about him not eating while shedding. But agian thanks.

I thought the same about my dude today too. I'll show you a right when coming outside pic to 15min in the sun and see for yourself. Burns won't "lighten up" in color.

My guys’s casque and face has dark black lines on the edges. It is just his coloration, which gets more pronounced with every shed.

Ok thanks you guys. I've seen pictures of what they look like burnt and thier spikes and stuff fall off. I didnt want that to happen.
