Male Ambilobe, age 2 yrs 5 mo +/- 2 weeks, weight 290+ grams. I know from past experience that my scale agrees closely with my vet's.
He's otherwise healthy. Extremely tolerant, gentle giant. I think I might have made him into a fatty. But I don't want to put him on a diet needlessly, so I would like to crowd source opinions.
He grew up with a buffet of every suitable feeder I could buy online, but at this point he only wants crickets, silk worms, and silk moths. He also gets hornworm treats, which are (apparently) the most delicious thing in the universe.
He doesn't eat nearly as much as he once did but I still offer him food daily. Sometimes he's not interested, but most days he takes some chow. Average food mass is around 4-5 young adult crickets and the same number of 1-2" silks.
When I look at his legs in these pictures I think he's gone past beefy and muscled and into fatty territory. My plan is to offer him that ration every other day rather than daily. Agree or disagree?
Taken today, weigh day. 292.4g

Couple days ago. I have no explanation for this pose but it does show his legs well. He's not fired up here; he was just chewing on a silkworm.
