Is he still alive?

After a month of healing our chameleon from multiple illnesses, I walk into the bedroom to find our little Henry laying on the bottom of the cage, he has opened his mouth a few time but I cannot see a heartbeat or any breathing are there any other ways to tell if he is alive?

If he is opening and closing his mouth, then he is still alive. I am sorry to say though, what you are describing does not sound good and he might not have much longer to live.

do you have a picture?!?! this is considered a worse case scenario . get some high protein repti boost and the syringe it comes with and give him water and the mix. if you don't have any right now get some water in him asap a dropper or a syringe childs medicine syringe ect will work. no solid food!!! if you have some bug burger gutload for crickets or some non acidic fruit juice like mango or apple add some to the water. if you have the gut load don't use too much because it jells and will be difficult to administer. good luck !
