Is it normal for my yemen to have whitey purple head?

Hello, Freds my first cham & everything with him is fine (apart from as ive mentioned before he is dark green when he basks) but i was looking at him yesterday and i noticed the outline of his crest & eyebrow bits are a purpleish colour, he shed a couple of days ago and i didnt notice it before this (but i might not have been looking too much) ive put some pics on, thanks p.s there was some snot or dead skin on his nostril that fell off lol

hi thanks, my chams head has got even whiter, could it be a health problem? thanks

No, I have an adult male veiled that has a whitish casque and is perfectly healthy. He looks like he could use a little more water - his eyes are just a bit sunken. Try a drip to help.

BTW, he looks like he is going to be a beautiful adult!
 
hes completely normal.
veileds get varying shades of white, grey, and black on their heads as they grow up.

I agree, he looks normal, but a bit dehydrated.

BTW, the white stuff on his nose was salt from his salt gland in his nose.
They expel it when it builds up in their bodies and it forms little crusty "boogers" that just fall off :D
