Is it ok for chameleons to sleep daytime

ive had my chameleon for a few months I mist her about three times a day but I was wondering is it ok for them to sleep in the day time because mine has been doing that every day and she always does it in her basking area

If she is hanging out with her eyes open that's ok. Sleeping with her eyes closed during her normal daylight hours is a sign of a problem.

Sorry no this is a sign that something isn't right. Chameleons shouldn't sleep at all during the day. I would suggest checking your setup to make sure everything is correct and most likely contacting a vet to make sure your chameleon isn't sick.

What's the basking temperature? Do you have a UVB light?
What supplements do you use and how often for each? Be specific please. What do you feed/gutload the insects?
How do you provide water?

You could use some more greenery in the cage so your chameleon can hide when it wants to.

I've only had her for like two or three months but so far I've only fed her either super worms or crickets and only two times a week I giver her meal worms

And I give the worms carrots and for the crickets I give dog food carrots and water

Dog food is not a good thing to use at all. I use a wide assortment of veggies and greens such as dandelions, collards, kale, endive, squash, carrots, zucchini, sweet red pepper, sweet potato, etc and a bit of fruit such as apple, pear, berries, melon.

Mealworms should only be a treat IMHO.

What supplements SPECIFICALLY do you use and how often for each?

I mist her my self about five times a day I think the basking light is 80 degrees and yes I do have a UVB light but she doesn't go to it a lot she mostly goes to the basking light

What brand UVB light do you have?
What SPECIFIC supplements do you use and how often for each?

I would suggest adding a dripper for the chameleon too.

My mom read on some site that if boomer is sick mix some pedia light with some water or drippe it on the insects is that good ? And I have to wait until I get home to tell you what brand of light

Before you treat an illness you need to know what's wrong so you know what to do/use to treat it. That's what I'm trying to do by asking the questions...I'm trying to figure out why your chameleon might be behaving that way so we can advise you of what to do to solve the problem.
If you don't give me exact answers I won't even have a chance of figuring it out.

Is she pooping? How many insects does she eat a week?

How old are you?
