leave it to science, it will happen some day. jurassic primate. if you ever read the micheal criton(not sure how to spell his last name) i think its either the first or second book they mention a raptor like dino with chameleon characteristics that is able to camoflage itself to its environment when hunting its prey. that and the swimming T-rex would have made for a better movie.
Sadly Michael Crichton books while based on some science, are far from reality. For example he was an outspoken critic of global warming.

By definition two separate species cannot produce fertile offspring. Some, however, can produce infertile offspring, if their genitalia and general genetic makeup are similar enough. Mules and ligers are examples of this.
The thing is, animals are designed not to be attracted to other species. Coloration is one of the biggest factors that enforces this. Getting a Jackson's to mate with a panther would be nearly impossible, so artificial insemination would really be the only solution here. The end result would either be pretty cool or just downright sad.

Not because they are different species,I know someone who pulled off successful matiing a vieled x panther but the eggs all died after the 3rd month.But nature thought about it for that little time....it wouldnt work because the birthing process of the 2....the jackson is live birth in under 6 months usually,the panther is an egg layer with a 10-12 month hatch time...so they would either drown in the egg or be born premature.......it would be bad @ss though
