Is it safe to eat umbrella plant?

Today is my first time to witness Kiddo(male Veiled) take a bite out of the umbrella plant he has. Is it safe for him to eat that? I just ran out of feeders today and I'm going to buy more today.

I just read somewhere that they'd have to eat copious amounts before you need to be concerned. Is this plant a new addition? Check the other leaves for evidence of consumption...

Perfect! Thanks maxttu! I was looking around to see any other leaves that was bitten off, but it seems like that was his first leaf. He had his full meals yesterday, but ran out of feeders just this morning. I'm on my way to buy more now!

As far as I know that it is secure and good to eat for him. Actually, I say that if you are looking for a wonderful flower to grow in the house or out, the umbrella flower is one that will do the job.
