So as many of you probably have heard, the UK (more so the south than the north) is undergoing a storm (well, it's a storm for us aha) & where I live there's several really tall trees right at the bottom of my garden & this morning I woke up to find a lovely big branch had broken off in the wind & landed on the washing line (obviously knows I want to dry it out & use it! ) and a few smaller branches too.
So my question is, is it safe to use these branches in my chams viv? If so, is there anything I can do to prepare them before putting them in?
I'm not completely sure what the trees are, I think they're oak & birch. But when it calms down outside I'll take a picture of the branches and the trees they came from if that'll help with identifying whether they're safe or not
