I noticed KP’s crest had a large white spot on it on the 28th, and I instantly new that it was an indication he was going to shed. Next morning sure enough he started, so I made sure to have his humidifier running more to keep the humidity at around 55-70% during these past fees days. Upon further inspection today, it looks like he STILL has skin that hasn’t shed from his crest, end of his tail, his feet, and his mid section.
The humidity is where it needs to be, but I think the problem is his misters nozzles are pointing at his basking spot, where he spends a lot of his time, so he gets sprayed every hour for about 45 seconds. Is this what is causing the skin to be harder to shed?
