Is metal safe to use as a frame for custom cage?

I am building a larger cage for my baby veiled and was wondering if you could use metal as a frame for a cage and put screen over it.

yes, but if it is made of steel it is gonna rust from getting wet. You are better off using aluminum or wood and sealing it.

Okay, what about aluminum? I was thinking of using something like this to hold the screen.

No problem! Most of the cages that are sold on line are made of aluminum.
