Is my chameleon a male?

I just got my chameleon two weeks ago. he was said to be born on May 30th which would make him about 4 1/2 months old. I bought him as a male but im not sure if he really is one. What do you think?

yep looks like a female. But to be positive you should still post a pic of the tail base!

My guess is male but I wouldnt want to say for sure until I saw a few more pics of the vent area.

try to get a close up of where the tail base meets the body, right at the vent...you should be able to see a bulge if its a male

It appears to be female but I've got a nosy faly that looked like a female until it was 5months old. I took the chams outside to get natural sunlight and within 2-3 days he burst with colors. You still have a nice chameleon even if it is a female. Just better reason to get another cham if you wanted to pair her with a male! lol

Looks like a male to me. It's a young enough chameleon that judgments about its sex can turn out wrong. But all the same, it looks like a male.

Its a male. 200% no doubts about it Id bet the ranch on it. The hemipenal bulge is super noticeable and those colors dont say female either, if that is what others are going off of
