Is my chameleon dying?

Hi everyone,
Today I noticed my chameleon Raijin looks pale. I'm not sure if this is a sign he's dying as it looks like he cant produce his color. He is a nosy be and should be blue. Here's a photo from earlier. He also appears weak. I took him outside to hydrate him but I'm not sure what else I can do.

Change of color isn't uncommon for chameleons and lighter colors do not have to be bad but your post as it is now gives to little informarion to make a good 'diagnosis'.

Pale weak chameleons are not good signs.

Is there any chance he is severely over heated? If not, I would be taking him to the vet asap.

I don't have money to take him to the vet, unfortunately. Broke college student here

I've had him for a little over 2 years and this is the first time I've seen him like this. I got him another UV light and hydrated him but he's still pale. However, he looks alert. I'm not sure what's going to happen.

I know what its like to be broke, it's hard. But he is your pet and (maybe in the future) you could save some pennies each month to put aside for routine/emergency pet care. Just had to say it A vet may not be as expensive as you think. I was surprised. And they might work with you if you tell them your situation. Good luck!
