is my chameleon pregnant or just fat?

Receptive = ready/open to mate includes a color change typically golden and pale blues.

Gravid = NOT receptive to mate. Either she was mated during her receptive period and is no longer willing to mate because she has eggs or she was not mated and is passed her receptive phase so she now has maturing eggs. Meaning she is getting closer to laying her eggs. Also includes a color change can show black when a male is present. You can also sometimes see the bulges from the eggs towards the back legs and abdomen.

she's been gradually getting bigger the past month or so. I actually don't know the sex of her, but I'm calling her a "her" because that's the most plausible answer. I feed her about 15 crickets a day but hasn't had much of an apatite lately. She was born in October, and I know they lay eggs no matter what, but I thought this might be too early.

I cant see the heals of her feet to see spurs but her casque resembkes that of a female. She is11 months now and jyst about full grown. You need to.put a lay bin inher cage immediatly. Also cut bavk on her food to every other day. I am sure others will post exact feeding neefs for her age. If she hasnt been around a male, the eggs will not be fertilized and will not hatch. They are like birds that way. I have not had a female so others here can give you pointers. Take some pucs of the heels of her feet if there in no bump back therr then its a girl..
