This is my first female veiled, and I was wondering if there are any signs I should look for to know that she is ready to lay eggs.

She is about 10 months old. I have enclosed some pictures.thank you so much for your help.

I am not sure about eggs from the pictures, but both her eyes do not look right. Maybe it is just your photos???

Im sorry to say, but it looks like your cham may have MBD. What lights and calcium supplement do you use?

She has a zoo med uv bulb 10 with a additional basking light. She gets calcium supplement without d3 once a week. A calcium supplement with d3 twice a month. A multivitamin 2 times a month. I also keep a calcium block in my cricket keeper for my crickets to eat.

She is not getting enough calcium. Girls need allot. All indoor chams male and female need calcium without d3 at just about every feeding. In addition I give my girls a drop of liquid calcium every 10 to 14 days. Your girl needs a vet visit and and x-ray. That way you will know if she has eggs or not amd see how her bones are. If she starts digging to lay her kegs could break. It does look like she has MBA. The vet will give you liquid calcium and can also give her an injection to draw the calcium to the bones quicker. Do you have a chameleon vet already? If not I might be able to recommend one it you tell me where you live. Here's some info about MBD. https://www.chameleonforums.com/wha...ase-mbd-looks-like-how-happens-how-fix-95071/
