Is something missing??

My jackson is always wanting to come out of his cage, and I can't help to think that he wants something or needs something lol :/. He has everything he needs: humidity, foliage, climbing, branches, etc. Is this species of cham just a very curious species that likes to explore? I've had him for a year n a half btw.

For those that have Xanths do y'all see this behavior as well? I would hate to think that I'm being a bad dad and not giving him something he needs.

Sounds to me like he just likes attention :) my Cham is like that(he's a panther) he begs to come out. He'll sit on his purple flower and stare at me :)

I don't think this is something to feel negative about, he's comfortable with you and wants to spend time with you! Something that some cham owners can only dream of! If you really are worried about it you could fill out one of the information forms so everyone can take a look at your husbandry.

He's been in great health (except for a abcess that he had on his mouth). Its just something that i guess struck me as weird since i always hear that most chams are not too social  He eats and drinks and is very strong lol. I also have a beardy and he on the other hand hates to be handled

I've heard that montane species are a bit more difficult to keep, which is also why i thought that he possibly was missing something..
