So i've had my Veiled chameleons for 5 months
the male is about 14inches in length
the female is around 12-13 in length
they are housed seperately in hanging enclosers( no screen no sides)
the have pothos, and umbrella plants the temperatures verys greatly
depending on where you take it
they've been doing really well growing 2x the size about since i bought them
in the past two weeks the female has gone from displaying an even green
to vertical yellow stripes and small blue dots all over
there is a possibility that they have bred due to the fact the male will cross the room to get to her area once in a while
though she has never seemed too receptive when I introduce them
now when they are near each other she will go really dark but still show those other colors
she also does not flatten herself vertically anymore stays kinda plump
if she is ready to lay eggs how can i tell ifthey are fertile or not?
will veins show early in incubation like other lizard eggs?
i'll try to get pics up tomorrow
