Dont do it bud. All of the more informed people know what they are saying. Im gonna go for the screen cage. Cheaper too.hi i am also wondering about what chameleon tank i should get
i was wondering wether the tank in this kit is allright for a veiled chameleon
When i first started i was going to buy that but its wayyyy to small. Even the platinum one is too small.
I did the same! I bought a plastic painter's dropcloth and sized it around three sides of my cage. It works well, and keeps water off of the walls around the cage.I got a roll of plastic sheeting used to cover floors and such while painting. Found in most hardware or home improvement stores for a few dollars per roll.
I cut the sheet down to the size I need for each side and taped it on.

Smart.I use corrugated plastic to cover 2-3 sides to hold humility in screen enclosure
Dont know who to listen to now.I strongly feel my 36x18x36 exoterra is large enough for my adult male panther, and would be fine for an adult veiled. If there was a larger option, I would buy it, but I have seen no ill effects. My main problem with the screen cages is it’s difficult to maintain humidity and properly mist the enclosure without creating a ton of overspray, and the remedy for this(shower curtain/plastic sheeting), makes an already ugly enclosure look uglier. Part of the deal between my wife and I regarding getting a chameleon was the enclosure had to accent the room it was in. I had to create a beautiful enclosure to house a beautiful reptile. The classiest way to do this included a well constructed glass enclosure. I believe these enclosures provide the best jumping point to create bioactive substrates and all the benefits they provide. I do free roam my chameleon occasionally on a few large houseplants, and he has an outdoor enclosure for the summer, but I have complete confidence in the husbandry provided inside his glass enclosure.
Both work. the largest exoterra works fine for an adult yemen. i Think they look good too. i keep Yemens in exoterras, not full grown but a lite over a year or so, in the 90x60x60 so the 90x90x60 should do fineDont know who to listen to now.
