Is this a male or female ambilobe?

Hi everyone, not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes.

I am currently looking to buy a male ambilobe panther chameleon and am having great difficulties in finding a male. Today I have spoken to a pet shop and they said they believe this to be a male but are not sure. What do you think? Help would be greatly appreciated... (hope the link works)

I agree with Lance looks female to me, too. Unfortunately no way to know which local (without breeding her or talking with the breeder). Best to buy from a known breeder, that way you get what you pay for.

Ah that is a shame, I thought it was female when I opened the picture. I have been trying to get a male for a little while now but is proving really difficult in London. Guess I'm going to have to be patient and keep on hunting.

Does anyone know of any good breeders in the UK?

Yes looks female. I got a baby a month ago and it's green and bluish already.

thanks for the replies everyone, I just knew it was going to be female. Looks very nice but definitely after a male to start off with before I start thinking about breeding etc. have wanted a chameleon for a while now and obviously want to see all the colours they have to offer! Got 3 hermann tortoises that we already breed from which we really enjoy doing.

yeah I think she is very nice looking. If I was looking for a female right now, I'd snap her up but have got my male on order now which I'll get in cpl of weeks!
