Is this feeder okay??

It's probably safe to say that you should never feed your cham. bugs that you 'found' ;]

As long as you know FOR SURE that around your area is chemical/pesticide free and you
know FOR SURE that the insect is safe.

How do you find out whether or not your area is chemical/ pesticide free? Bugs can cover a surprisingly large range....

That's why I said I wouldn't feed it off if I didn't know the species of the insect. So how would you know FOR SURE that the insect is safe if you don't even know the species?
 
if they are not toxic or have too hard of a shell then it is usually okay to say that they would make good feeders. I wanted to know if it was pouisonous. Many breeders use them. And i didn't "find" it, i caught it.

If you don't know what it is, don't feed it off.
