I never use mercury vapor bulbs for chameleons due to the fact chameleons have shown the ability to tell the difference between uvb and uva. It's not safe to have either. It is more likely for them to not get enough uvb and to get burned. 100watts is rather strong for mercury vapor bulbs too, they usually put out more heat than regular basking bulbs even at 100 watts. I would not use it.

Could you send me something more suitable?

Like a link? UVB the favorite (even though I don't have mine yet) is an arcadia for sure, I don't know where you are, but I would go for a 6% linear bulb. As far as basking if you can get a regular incandescent house bulb that gets you your correct temps (I use around 60-75 watts but I live in Central Cali) those are great.

Use halogen 100 watt flood lights for basking and a linear UVB. Arcadia %6 would be good for yours. Use a light dimmer with the halogen bulb to get it to desired temp.

I thought you weren't supposed to use dimmers with halogens... o_O or is that a different light? I completely avoid halogens due to Ryker XD

get one of those thick glass flood lights they work great. Sorry should have said that not with a normal house light one of those thick glass halogen flood lights.
