Is this mouth rot?

Hi, I know this a rather old post, but my chameleon has the same thing and could not find anything similar on the web but your post! What was it in the end and did it just fall of?

thank!
For a better response, please start your own thread in the health clinic forums

Wow, brings back memories hah. Anyway, I agree it might be better for you to start a thread so you get more responses. In this case, whatever it was healed on it's own. This chameleon is still alive and with my friend @snitz427 I think donnie still has a little mark on his mouth from it, but i can't remember.

Awesome, how old now? 4yrs? Thanks for the reply :)

He does have a tiny scar in that area (that I dont think I noticed until now!). My guess is from a bug bite or scratch. I’ve seen this on Walt and Lola before, and it clears up on its own.

Quite a color change, but he is still a stud! If you look at bottom left lip you can sorta see it.
