is this normal or stress

for some reason I could not view the video but I would like to say that his colors are brighter cause he is happier to be out of his cage. My two guys will be very dark in their cage and they will brighten up when I take them outside. I am not saying 100% that this is your case but it sure is a possibility. yes, it is normal in my opinion.

It seems that he is probably just not happy being in that small of an enclosure. Maybe try letting him free range in that room for a few days. I had a female that would be ok for her to sleep in her cage, but hated being in her cage during the day
