So I was installing a dripper system that gave am impression of rainfall. I took my little guy out and he had weird black marks on his body appear, then I think they started to disappear. I want to assume its just his patterns starting to come though but I could another opinion

Yea black spots will appear when stressed. Totally normal. Congrats on the beautiful baby :)
How old is she? Looks a tad small to be throwing much color around

I think he's about 3 months? I unfortunately don't fully know. I know he will bring out all of his stripes when he's crawling on my bed. But so far he's only been green and black (almost always green till out cage which is where his stripes will occasionally appear)

That's a very mild stress pattern there :) Did you ever confirm the sex? Any bump on the back ankle?

Here is a pic of another stressed youngster

........usually after a few minutes being out and about they will go back to green.

Yup there was a bump! So i know hes a stubborn male. its weird cause he will go green, to a paleish green and have those markings like in the pictures. When i pick him up he's also cold. id imagine its because they cant retain their heat but sometimes hes really cold and i never see him basking (probably cause im there so he hides) but he use to when i first bought him, he was upside down next to the lights. He's really weird:p haha i try not to worry cause i have the cage at like 80-85 during the day. and im also extremely happy i installed a rainfall/ water drip system hopefully he loves it!:D

I would say so, yes - here is my boy at 3 months - https://www.chameleonforums.com/members/davidbuchan-albums-rin-tin-tin-picture11668-day-one.html
They are quite poorly insulated when it comes to thermal conductance, yes :) I would have his highest temps at around 78-80......at the moment he clearly has no need to warm up any more than he already is. 85 is ok, as long as he has a good gradient so he can cool down to 70F if he chooses.
They do silly things like exploring upside down a lot when little......

Sweet! I don't know why I stress so much about it haha:D since I installed that dripper my humidity has finally gone up without going back down because of misting. I still mist though. But hopefully now its just twice maybe three times a day. They look be about the same size except yours has more of a bigger head

Sounds like a natural born chameleon keeper to me :D
Yeah, partly just the angles I guess but your boy does seem to have a bit of a pointy face........don't be worrying about that though ;)
