My veiled is just 1 yo, he likes to sleep in his blanket with me at night, I'm not sure if this is normal?

Dear god you are right, man! your chameleon has some kind of blue fuzzy growth for a body! Jeezus man what did you do! Quick I know just what to do. you are going to need a tiny sombrero, tiny sunglasses, and a burning cigarette. PM me and I will give details!Your cham does not look the greatest. Can you post more pictures of him? Complete ones from the side.
I think possibly you are misinterpreting his behavior here. Remember, your room is (hopefully) cooler than his cage so his body temp will fall (and this includes his brain) and if your room is also darker than his cage he'll naturally get sluggish or even fall asleep. This does not mean he "likes" to sleep with you, but that he is feeling the effects of the room. If he's on a blanket, a perch, a bookshelf, or some other spot at the time he cools off, he'll probably nap there. My veiled is just 1 yo, he likes to sleep in his blanket with me at night, I'm not sure if this is normal? I agree with your statement about the eyes. What worries me is the casque looks pretty curved, which can be a sign of MBD.We'd have to see him with his eyes open. Some chams pull their eyes in more when asleep. His casque doesn't look sunken and that's sometimes a better indicator of dehydration along with urate color. Chams pull in their eyes for several reasons, not just because they are dehydrated.
I don't think its that bad at all. Most veiled casques aren't perfectly symmetrical. Could be genetic or something that happened to it when they were babies. If it was collapsed, misshapen, or really bent over I'd be more worried.I agree with your statement about the eyes. What worries me is the casque looks pretty curved, which can be a sign of MBD.
